We are looking for an innovative and creative Visual Merchandiser who will be focused on increasing sales and profit in our stores by creating and implementing attractive and striking visual store displays. In this position you will also be responsible for establishing and implementing merchandising strategies with sales and retail managers, providing props and materials for store displays, and collaborating and negotiating with suppliers.

As a Visual Merchandiser, your goal is to use your visual, creative, and imaginative skills to catch customers’ attention and lead them to check out and finally purchase products. To ensure success in this position, you need to research and be aware of current and modern trends and understand the brand, products, and customers’ expectations. You should also have strong interpersonal skills that will help you communicate with customers, team members, and superiors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual merchandising, marketing, fashion, design, visual communication, or a similar field
  • Prior working experience as a Visual Merchandiser or a Visual Manager
  • Strong knowledge of visual design, merchandise trends, and best practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office and various design programs and tools (AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Understanding of products and brand culture and image
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to combine colors, patterns, textures, and materials
