One of Indeed’s 2025 Platinum ATS Partners.
5,000+ growing businesses hire on AvaHR without a recruiting team.
Search the people you already paid for.
You spent money getting these applicants the first time. Sourcing turns that pile into a bench you can actually search, three postings in.
Search by what they can do
Certification, years in the trade, location, tags your team added, and the text inside their résumé. Searching "EPA 608" finds people who never typed it into a field.
See the history before you reach out
When they applied, which role, how far they got and what your team said. You are not cold-calling a stranger, you are following up with someone who already wanted the job.
Add them to the job in one click
Drop the shortlist straight into the pipeline and text or email the whole group at once. No new posting, no new spend.
Forty-two people who could do this job today.
One opening for a service tech. Nothing posted, nothing sponsored. This is what was already sitting in the database at Copper State Mechanical.

The opening goes to your own channels too.
Your followers already know the company. Connect Facebook, LinkedIn and X once, and every job you post is two taps from all three, with the title, location and pay range pulled straight from the posting.
- Connect each channel once, not per job
- Post copy written from the job, editable before it goes
- Applicants from social land in the same pipeline, tagged by source
Your crew already knows who to call.
Every employee gets their own portal with the open roles and the bonus attached to each. They refer in under a minute, AvaHR stamps the credit from the first click, and the payout tracks itself instead of dying in somebody’s notes.
- No ATS seat and no training for the person referring
- Credit stamped from first click through to start date
- Bonus released on the schedule you set

Loved by the people who actually do the hiring.
Owners and office managers run these searches themselves, between calls, without a recruiter in the building.
“We were about to spend another eight hundred on sponsored posts. Our office manager found two techs we had already turned down in March. One started that Monday.”
“Forty-two people who could do the job, and we had already paid to find every one of them.”
Ray at the Copper State shop
“I text the whole shortlist at once now. Two of them answered before I finished my coffee.”
Sourcing is one part of Recruit & Engage.
The rest of the group keeps filling the database you are searching, so the bench gets deeper with every job you post.

I am brand new to AvaHR. Is my database empty?
On day one, yes, and it fills fast. Every applicant to every job you post lands in it permanently. Most shops have a searchable bench within two or three postings, and it compounds from there. You can also import a spreadsheet of people you have collected elsewhere.
Is it legal to contact someone who applied a year ago?
Yes. They applied to you and gave you their contact details. AvaHR keeps the record of when they applied and to what, and every outbound email and text is logged on their profile, so you have the history if you ever need it.
How is this different from just searching my email?
Email finds a name if you remember it. Sourcing finds people by what they can do: certification, years in the trade, location, how far they got last time, and what your team said about them. Then it adds them to a job in one click instead of you starting a thread from nothing.
Can I search resumes, not just the form fields?
Yes. Résumés are parsed on upload, so the skills, employers and certifications inside them are searchable text. Searching "EPA 608" returns people who never typed it into a field but have it on the résumé.
