Features · Automated actions

You did not lose them. You just answered late.

Good techs take the first job that calls them back. Set the rule once, WHEN this happens THEN do that, and the reply, the reminder and the stage move happen while you are still under a truck.

How it works

Nothing here is clever. It is just the follow-up you meant to do.

Two dropdowns and a template. If you can describe the thing you keep forgetting, you can build the rule that does it.

WHEN this happens, THEN do that.

Open the stage, add a trigger, pick the template and a delay if you want one. That is the whole setup, and it runs on every candidate who reaches that stage from then on.

Answered while you were still on the roof.

“We were losing people between the application and the phone call. Not because we did not want them, because I was on a roof. Now they get a text in four seconds and half of them answer before I am back in the truck.”

Questions

Before you automate anything.

Still deciding? A specialist will build your first two rules with you on the call, the instant reply and the quiet-candidate nudge.

Will candidates be able to tell it is automated?

Only if you write it that way. The messages come from your templates, in your words, with their name and the job filled in, and they arrive from your number and your address. Most shops write them the way they would text somebody themselves.

Does it send rejections without me knowing?

Never unless you build that rule and turn it on. It is off by default. When shops do use it, most set it to close out candidates after thirty days with a decent note, which is thirty days more courtesy than the average job posting gives.

Can I turn a rule off for one job?

Yes. Every rule is either company-wide or scoped to specific jobs, and you can pause one without deleting it. The activity log keeps the history either way, so you can see exactly what went out while it was running.

What if two rules would fire at once?

They run in order and AvaHR will not send the same candidate the same message twice. If two rules both want to move someone, the stage change happens once and both are recorded in the log so you can see what conflicted.

Do texts cost extra?

Texting is part of AvaHR, not a bolt-on with its own bill. Your plan covers the messaging your hiring actually uses, and a specialist will confirm the specifics for your volume on a walkthrough.

The follow-up happens whether you remember or not.

Start free and let the first rule answer your next applicant in four seconds, or book a walkthrough with a specialist who knows your industry.

You'll never hire alone.
