Our school is looking to hire a Dean of Students who will manage the institution’s faculty, programs, and student life. You will be responsible for supervising the institution’s admissions and administrative offices, implementing working procedures, policies, and objectives, and assessing program effectiveness. You will serve as a point of contact between the faculty staff and student organizations and maintain records of student activities, meetings, and disciplinary issues.
Additionally, you will provide academic support, guidance, and counseling to students, as well as leadership and direction to faculty staff. You will also create and implement programs that will address common issues, such as alcohol abuse and stress management to educate students. In the end, you should respond to student problems and concerns and handle emergencies.
As a Dean of Students, you should have excellent communication, leadership, empathy, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Duties and responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, sociology, psychology, social work, or a related field
- A Master’s degree in education is desirable
- Working experience as a Dean of Students or college professor
- Extensive knowledge of educational institutions’ policies and regulations
