Our company is hiring a qualified Account Officer to join the financial department. Your main job in this role will be to manage the company’s accounting records, payable, receivable, general ledger, and other financial data, and process and maintain invoices, bills, payments, and other transactions. You will review client accounts for accuracy, communicate with clients to provide assistance, and resolve financial issues and discrepancies.
You will be responsible for maintaining digital and physical records of financial documents, preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts, and ensuring compliance with financial state and federal laws and regulations. As Account Officer, you will also analyze financial data to provide insights and implement strategies for business improvement and provide support during financial audits and tax preparation.

Duties and responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the company’s accounting records, payables, receivables, general ledger, and other financial data
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Process and maintain invoices, bills, payments, and other transactions
- Review client accounts for accuracy and possible discrepancies and issues
- Accept and review credit and loan applications to determine if clients are eligible
- Communicate with clients and answer questions about financial products and services
- Manage account and relationships activities with new and existing clients

- Identify and resolve account issues, queries, and irregularities
- Inspect financial documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, statistics, business administration, or a related field
- Prior working experience as an Account Officer or in a similar role
- Familiarity with CRM, analytical, and accounting software and tools
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is an advantage
