We are looking to hire an experienced and motivated Event Manager who will assist our organization in planning and executing a variety of events. As our Event Manager, you will organize and coordinate all aspects of event planning from start to finish. You will be responsible for researching and booking the appropriate venue and hiring and supervising event staff, including waiters, caterers, musicians, photographers, and others. Additionally, you will liaise and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and sponsors.
As an Event Manager, your job is to ensure the smooth and professional execution of events. You will also collect feedback and analyze the event specifics in order to make the next one even better. To ensure success as an Event Manager, you should have outstanding communication, negotiation, project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Duties and responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and coordinate the execution of promotional, business, and social events
- Collaborate with clients to determine their event requirements and wishes
- Direct and monitor all aspects of the event from start to finish
- Coordinate with the event staff to ensure the smooth preparation and execution of the event
- Research and book appropriate venues for events and negotiate terms with vendors and suppliers
