We are hiring a skilled Beautician for our team. You will be in charge of greeting and welcoming customers into the salon and providing a variety of beauty treatments and procedures. You will be cutting, coloring, and styling hair, performing manicures, pedicures, and nail art, removing hair by waxing or electrolysis, applying makeup and skin care products, and providing facials, massages, and other body and skin care treatments.
Every Beautician’s goal is to provide flawless and pleasant service to customers and do their best to improve their physical appearance. You will also make recommendations and sell beauty products, and refer customers to specialists such as dermatologists if you notice any problems. In the end, our ideal candidate should have outstanding customer service and communication skills, as well as an eye for detail and physical stamina.
Duties and responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers
- Answer phone calls and book appointments
- Remove hair using various methods (waxing, electrolysis, laser hair removal)
- Recommend and do hairstyles and apply hair products
- Perform manicures, pedicures, and nail art
- Apply makeup and skin care products
- Advice customers on how to take care of their skin and hair
- Recommend and sell beauty products
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized working area
- Provide massages and body scrubs
- Perform facials and other skin care treatments
- Monitor inventory and supplies and order new stocks
- Identify problems and refer customers to appropriate specialists, such as dermatologists
Requirements
- Valid certification in cosmetology, aesthetics, or a similar field
- Previous hands-on experience in providing beauty and personal care services
- Strong knowledge of beauty, skin, hair, and body treatments and procedures
- Solid knowledge of beauty and makeup products
- Ability to identify and treat skin imperfections
- Outstanding customer service and communication
- An excellent eye for detail

What education this role needs.
Beauticians must undergo professional training in cosmetology and beauty therapy in order to provide beauty and personal care services.
