An Operations Manager oversees the operations of an organization. Manages and assigns daily tasks to employees, including maintaining production schedules or work hours for all departments within a company. We have an opening at our company for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager supervises and coordinates staff activities in a company’s manufacturing or service department. The person plans, organize, manages resources, and evaluates performance. They monitor production schedules to ensure that work is completed on time.

We’re looking for somebody to provide leadership over their assigned group by managing the day-to-day operations, including cost control, production schedules, and staff training.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage inventory, buy materials, and maintain warehouse efficiency
  • Analyze financial data and use it to optimize profitability

  • Prior experience in Operations Management in a professional setting
  • Experience managing people and overseeing operations
  • Ability to create a working budget and conduct financial calculations
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of five years experience as an Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager with a large organization
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong understanding of production schedules is required. Experience managing inventory control systems would also be desired.
